9 Weeks

Your little embryo has now officially graduated to fetus-hood. Adding to the excitement, a Doppler ultrasound device might be able to pick up the beating heart. With basic physical structures in place and increasingly distinct facial features, baby is kind of starting to look like... well... a baby!

I am finally starting to feel much better... I haven't had any morning sickness and the nausea is started to fade away... My "girls" are still very sore and I am having some mild cramping... I was worried about the cramping but found out that its just my uterus growing. I love waking up in the morning and seeing how my body is changing. We are almost to our 2nd trimester and I will finally be able to relax. I worry about every little thing that my body does, it consumes most of my day. We go back to the doctor on Tuesday to hear the heartbeat. We are so excited! This will be the best birthday gift for Scott, being that his birthday is Wednesday. I am trying to remember to take pictures every week but my memory is not so good these days. Well, that's it for now...
